Every day you show up to tend to the emotional and physical needs of another person. Yet how often do you consider your own needs? So often we get caught in caring for others we forget make time to step back and care for ourselves.


Would you love to spend the weekend practicing excellent alignment based Yoga and follow blissful guided meditations? This weekend workshop is about being with like minded people, doing wonderful Yoga and learning invaluable self care skills.


Taking a break for a couple of afternoons is something we all dream of and yet so few of us ever do. And I completely understand how finding some time to be alone or to go out for an evening can feel like you're organising the Olympics, so 2 weekend afternoons might seem impossible.

But I can also tell you from my own experience that the effort to set things up and to organise your network of friends and family to step in for you is worth every second.


Nourish and strengthen your body mind and heart. Build resilience and Joy through Yoga poses, pranayama and meditation. Connect with people treading the same path as you.


Yoga to care for the Carer workshops in the beautiful London Fields studio, East London this coming September 2017.
2 wonderful weekend afternoons of Yoga for parents of children with Special needs and people who spend a lot of time caring for others, professionally of otherwise.


All levels of Yoga student welcome, from beginners to more advanced.


About Sarah.

I have been teaching Yoga for 10 years and am qualified to the highest level with Yoga Alliance US. I teach Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin Yoga.
I have lived in England, Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Spain and currently live in Singapore. I am the mother of two dear boys aged 10 and 16 who are my greatest teachers.
I love sharing all I have learned from living in six very different countries and cultures, bringing up my two wonderful sons and all I have learned on my 30 year Yoga path.


My passion is to guide others to find their best true selves. To guide people to bring creative outlets into their lives, to find a Yoga path that suits them and to and ignite a zest for living life with purpose and poetry.
I strive to demonstrate kindness, skill and above all, love.


I started practising Yoga 32 years ago, when I was 16, the same age my eldest son Rafi is now. Yoga helped me when I was young to stretch and lengthen my tight sport addled body. That and some relaxation was all I wanted from it then.
Sixteen years later, my husband Charlie and I moved to Taiwan and soon after Rafi was born. When he was only a few months old it was clear that he was different.
Having a baby who won’t go to others, who won’t hug you and who seems to be uncomfortable so much of the time is a big worry for any parent, especially when so far from home.


That was when my Yoga practice really began. Yoga became a sanctuary for me. It helped me to learn patience and tolerance towards others, to look after my dear son better as well as to observe and understand myself.


I practice Yoga when times are good, tedious, busy or boring and when anxiety about my son- or any other life matter - has me in its grip.
It soothes and comforts, challenges and stretches me and I know I wouldn't be as patient or aware if it weren't for my Yoga practice and the insight it brings.


I want to pass that on to you.

On Saturday I will guide you through a heart opening Hatha sequence with elements of pranayama and meditation designed to bring more Resiliance and Joy into your life.

On Sunday we will go further into our Hatha practice with more standing twisting poses and marrying Yogic philosophy with western positive psychology to bring practice of self care more into your life.
